Blue Fountain is proud to offer a very affordable shipping service on all customer orders. Our shipping fees are very competitive and consistently undercut other major domestic and foreign book retailers, both in terms of price and speed of delivery.
Shipping Preferences
When ordering multiple items on bluefountain.com, you have the option of shipping the order in as few packages as possible or as items become available. Shipping as items become available may be more advantageous to you if items in your order have varying availability times. Additional shipping charges may apply, however, if you opt to ship items as they become available since this may result in multiple shipments.
Shipping Methods
Blue Fountain offers two domestic shipping methods for all books in stock in our warehouse.
- Collect on Delivery
- Express Delivery
- Collect from Shop
Express Delivery: Orders will be delivered by courier to your door.
Collect on Delivery: Orders will be delivered by courier to your door and payment collected in cash when you receive the goods. This delivery method is available of all orders that have selected Cash on Delivery as the payment option.
Collect from Shop: If you're a booklover in Shanghai and always looking for a new read, you can always opt to pickup your order from our shop.
International Shipping
As most books offered on bluefountain.com are sourced from overseas publishers, we may not always have your book in stock. In these instances, we will order your books from the publisher and have them automatically shipped by air so your order may be fulfilled as quickly as possible.
Please note, an additional customs and shipping fee applies on all orders not in stock in our warehouse. This fee is currently 11 RMB per order, plus 23 RMB per item.
Domestic Shipping
Blue Fountain is proud to ship books to all regions in China. For pre-paid orders, Blue Fountain will ship to any address in China or overseas. For collect on delivery orders, our delivery service is available in 137 cities around China :

Customs Charges
Under Chinese law, all books imported by Blue Fountain are subject to Chinese customs charges. As we receive large weekly shipments from our international suppliers, we are able to minimise the charges we pass on to you. Please see

Delivery Times
The availability estimate listed on the item's details page tells you if we have at least one copy of the item you wish to order in one of our warehouse. If the item is not in stock, the availability estimate tells you how long we think it will take for our suppliers to receive the item.
Usually ships within 2-3 days items are in stock in our warehouse and will be shipped to you as soon as possible.

Pre-Order items are those items which are available for order but have not yet been published. As the release dates for titles generally refer to UK or US release dates, these items are usually shipped within 3-8 weeks from the book's release date. The release date is provided by the publisher and may change without notice to Blue Fountain.
